Our Board

Ian brings more than 30 years of experience in executive leadership and board roles.  He served as inaugural Chief Executive of AustralianSuper from 2006 to 2021. Under Ian’s leadership, AustralianSuper was regarded as one of Australia’s top performing funds and was also named the most trusted superannuation fund for 11 consecutive years. During his tenure, AustralianSuper’s membership more than doubled and members’ assets grew tenfold. Ian’s key role prior to joining Tenet was Chair of Crown Melbourne where he oversaw the transformation of the business following the Royal Commission, including Crown regaining its licence. Ian is also a Director of the Hawthorn Football Club, and advises a range of organisations.
